2019 Component Award open for entries

The theme of the Passivhaus Institute 2019 Component Award is: "Windows for the Future". The award is now open for entries.

In recent years, substantial progress has been made in terms of thermal window quality. In order to make a significant contribution to climate protection, these further improved windows must enter the global mainstream. It is therefore crucial to show that the thermally improved windows are superior to conventional products in terms of both comfort and hygiene, as well as life cycle costs.

Key dates:

• 11 March 2019: Deadline to register

• 15 June 2019: Submission deadline of the final participant documents.

• 21 - 22 September 2019: Winners announced at 23rd International Passivhaus Conference
