Competition: Explain Passivhaus
The Trust are delighted to partner with the International Passivhaus Association (iPHA) for the launch of a global campaign “Efficiency: The First Renewable Energy.” The campaign aims to raise awareness for the vital role energy-efficient buildings play in meeting climate goals AND demonstrate that they provide a comfortable, healthy and sustainable built environment.
There are many clear descriptions of Passivhaus using a thermos flask. One of our favourites can be seen in the video below. The #ExplainPassiveHouse competition seeks simple visual explanations using everyday household objects to describe how a Passivhaus building works. This is a global competition to celebrate the announcement of the Efficiency: The First Renewable Energy Campaign. The competition will run until the 1st of March via social media channels: Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
To take part, simply post your description of how a Passivhaus building works to social media with the hashtags #ExplainPassiveHouse and #EfficiencyFirst between the 15th of February and 1st of March.
