Every year, Passivhaus buildings across the globe generously open their doors to visitors. Whether you are a self-builder, a built environment professional or an individual interested in learning more about Passivhaus design, this event offers an invaluable opportunity to experience the comfort and quality of a Passivhaus. Meet and talk to the owners or professionals involved to find out more first-hand.

After the success of the first digital International Passivhaus Open Days in 2020, and due to the continuing COVID19 restrictions around the world, the 2021 International Passivhaus Open Days will be a hybrid event, with tours, Q&As, panel discussions and other sessions taking place in-person or online depending on the region and current COVID-19 status.

Are you a proud Passivhaus occupant, or have you been involved in a Passivhaus project previously? Share your first-hand experience of Passivhaus with others.

As restrictions ease, we invite participating projects to consider holding in person events, subject to appropriate risk assessment and mitigation measures, which are the responsibility of the host.

To participate in the International Passivhaus Open Days 2021, please register your project with the International Passivhaus Database. Projects can be at various stages - from fully occupied to under construction. Registration is free of charge but first-time users will be asked to create an account. Click here for detailed registration instructions.

If your project already registered with the Passivhaus Database, simply fill out the information on the Passivhaus Days viewing appointments and update your contact data if necessary. Should you have any further questions regarding registration, please contact info@passivehouse-international.org.

If you prefer not to list your scheme on the international database, please complete and return the following form, along with 3-5 high res project images to info@passivhaustrust.org.uk and the Trust will create a booking page following the template pictured on the right.
