We are delighted to partner with NSBRC for a free in-person Passivhaus Workshop. This event will enable you to understand key Passivhaus principles, the application of Passivhaus in existing projects and to ensure you have the correct team behind you to develop your own Passivhaus home.
Aimed at self-builders, tradespeople and those interested in developing Passivhaus projects, the workshop will offer a diverse and interactive programme of talks, Q&A sessions and live guided tours.
Why attend?
The buildings we occupy play an important role in our health and wellbeing. The Passivhaus standard is designed to deliver comfortable and high-quality living environments with lower running costs, in any type of building:
-
Good for comfort - comfortable temperatures are easily maintained all year round using minimal energy
-
Good for your health - constant clean fresh air
-
Good for your pocket - 90% reductions in energy needed for heating
-
Good for quality - a rigorous quality control process requires craftsmanship and buildings that are built with care
-
Good for your future - the Passivhaus seal of approval guarantees certainty of performance
The most successful and cost-effective way of achieving Passivhaus is incorporating the standard before your designs are complete and including your Passivhaus elements in your planning application. With the chance to pose questions to Passivhaus experts, this is an invaluable opportunity to learn key insights into getting your Passivhaus project successfully underway.
