EuroPHit comes to the end of a busy first year

The EuroPHit research project has entered its second year and you’ll now able to keep up to date with the progress of the 13 case study projects, including the UK's development Wilmcote House (pictured below) via the EuropHit newsletter. Each of these case studies is being retrofitted according to Passive House principles with the ultimate aim of achieving the EnerPHit Standard.

The EuroPHit teams are also planning regional workshops to be held throughout the EU from late 2014 through early 2015. These workshops are designed to support interested financial institutions, home owner associations, local authorities, energy advisors, property portfolio managers, and other local partners in offering financial products specifically for step by step refurbishments. The BRE are leading the financial research with the first workshops planned 16 Septermber.
