Passivhaus Trust Members shortlisted for BRE Passivhaus competition
Five of the Six finalists making it through to the second stage of the competition are Trust members.
AJ Footprint has revealed Second stage finalists of the BRE's UK Passivhaus Design Competition 2012. We are delighted to hear that five of the six finalists are Passivhaus Trust members. The finalists will now proceed to the second stage of the competition and the winners will be announced on 31st January.
'The core aim of the competition is to demonstrate that the Passivhaus standard can provide an affordable method of delivering ultra-low energy social and market housing; whilst also addressing occupant wellbeing, fuel poverty, energy security and wider environmental impacts.'

- Good Architecture
- Sustainable by design
- bere:architects & The Prince’s Foundation for the Built Environment
