Passivhaus Trust Tenth Anniversary

In 2010, the Passivhaus Trust was founded. Now, in 2020, we celebrate the tenth anniversary, over 1300 certified Passivhaus dwellings across the UK, a prestigious Stirling Prize win for a Council-led Passivhaus development, and many more milestones.

We’ve come this far through the collective efforts of all the architects, consultants, contractors, engineers and forward-thinking clients who are committed to a more sustainable built environment, and for this celebration we wanted to bring all these voices together. Hear the thoughts of some of our members and collaborators below.

At the closing session of the 2020 UK Passivhaus Conference on Wed 25 Nov, we heard from some of those who have advanced the standard over the last decade, and together discussed what actions we can all take to move it forward. Watch the full recording of the session, or sample some snippets.

The UK Passivhaus Awards have celebrated the best projects in the UK certified to the Passivhaus standard over the last decade, and they return in 2021. Check out the call for entries, and discover previous winners on our Awards page. Passivhaus ambassadors reveal their seminal project picks from the past decade to commemorate the Trust's tenth anniversary and in anticipation for the 2021 Awards.
