Passivhaus Trust soars winds of change: We are hiring.

Changes in the Passivhaus Trust’s delivery team are on the horizon. Our Research and Policy Director, John Palmer, has been invited to join the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government (MHCLG). We are delighted to report that John is taking a senior position in the MHCLG Energy Performance of Buildings team where he will be tasked to guide national policy and compliance. It is an unmissable opportunity for John and with potentially high impact across the Passivhaus and wider community. We are excited that he will be transplanting his Passivhaus expertise and enthusiasm right into the heart of government!

With unstoppable interest in Passivhaus accelerating, the Trust is seizing this opportunity to restructure and expand the team. Initially, we are recruiting a new Research and Policy Director to replace John and a new Education Associate to help drive the national Passivhaus training strategy, with more roles planned in the near future. Details of both jobs are available below:

As we start to emerge from Covid, there seems to be a renewed determination to move the built environment towards true net-zero. Passivhaus is a crucial component of that. The Trust will provide the support and guidance required at a national scale to get individuals and organisations ready to build to Passivhaus standards.
