Welsh Passivhaus social housing takes off

The Passivhaus Trust has undertaken a round-up of Welsh certified Passivhaus social housing schemes to date. As of early 2025, there are 189 certified Passivhaus social housing dwellings in Wales. The new Tai ar y Cyd pattern book project has been designed to streamline and fast-track the uptake of Welsh social housing schemes targeting the AECB and Passivhaus standards. We are looking forward to the pattern book bolstering the scaleability of Passivhaus across Wales.
