The winter UK Passivhaus Open Days 2024 showcased a diverse range of Passivhaus projects across the nation, offering attendees a first hand look at cutting-edge, energy-efficient design and its advantages.

Taking place over a chilly November weekend, the Open Days allowed visitors to experience the many benefits of Passivhaus living during the colder weather. Attendees from across the UK, including homeowners, architects, and students, engaged with construction professionals to explore how the Passivhaus Standard delivers year-round comfort, sustainability, and energy savings, reinforcing its reputation for high-quality design.

Participants explored 14 inspiring projects from Exeter to Scotland at various build stages, including award-winning eco-homes in Kippen and Hereford, a phased retrofit in Yorkshire, a plant-based Passivhaus under construction in the Midlands and the largest Passivhaus student accommodation in the UK in Bristol.
